Inhumane script

Tomorrow we are going to film the first part of our opening sequence which involves a small child. The child actor is called Jarrod and is 4 years old and our actor Harrison is going to be playing the character that gets infected. Only three members of the group are going to be at the film shoot as one has a family commitment. Below is the time and place of the shoot.


Time: 7.15pm - 8.30pm
Scene 1: Teenager sees the child in the middle of the road
Actors on location: Joe(the teenager)and the abandoned child.

Location: Private Estate off of rectory lane

Title choice - INHUMANE

I suggested the title choice inhumane because the world inhumane is something in human, not alive, so i thought it would be a good idea as our film involved the un-dead.

We decided to use people that are in our media group and friends of ours that attend this school. So we have can reach them easily and chase them up if we needed to re shoot anything later on if we were not satisfied with the outcome of the film.

Although all members of our group were set individual tasks some people still did not carry out their duties. For example the synopsis didnt get done so i had to work with the writer in order for it to be completed, The other camera man couldnt be present after the first day of filming so i had to take over for the remainder of the filming process. I was also left editing and re-editing alone, and had to look up costumes and do reserach alone, i also found all our locations so i didnt have time to be doing film treatments and risk assesments so it was left for someone else to do as i was doing alot of the other things.

Here is a brainstorm of possible tites for our film; thought of using our storyline.

General storyline

Storyline (Can be changed if need be)
October 31st; Its night time and a small child is standing in the middle of a empty street. (singing a nursery rhyme) When teen 1 walks up to them to ask if they are alright and if they are lost. Suddenly the child attacks the person.(bites them) (shot through CCTV footage)

(Shot through a mobile phone or hand cam) Cuts to halloween night and 3 teens are going to their friends halloween party. When their friend opens the door he is infected (Teen one) HE HAS BLOOD RUNNING DOWN HIS MOUTH ECT. He has bitten everyone in the party, some are infected and some are dead.

The three teens scream as their friend grabbs one of them; they get away ans run off suomewhere to talk about what to do next

AIM OF THE FILM: follows the survivers struggle to survive. and them adapting and killing the zombies in order to stay alive.

Synopsis

A single bite from an infected infant spreads across Londons City rapidly; four teens must battle for survival against an outbreak of zombie Kind. Will the teens put their friendship aside and kill thier Infected friend? Or will they all die in persuit to save the world from this deathly outbreak?

Shooting schedule planned, locations found and permissions obtained, costumes obtained, equipment list completed. Research & Planning blog to be complete and handed in for marking.

End of Week 3:
Filming to have started.

Filming to have been completed and editing to have started.

End of Week 5:
Filming and editing both completed and film handed in.

Week 5 and Easter Holidays:
Evaluating blog to be completed.
